William F. Brockschink, 73, died Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City. Services: Monday, November 12, 10:30 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Norway, with Rev. Craig Steimel and Rev. Brian Dellaert officiating. Burial: Lenox Cemetery, Norway with Military Rites. Visitation: Sunday 3:00 - 7:00 PM at St. Michael's Parish Center. Bill was born April 6, 1939 in Norway to Victor and Elsie Schulte Brockschink. On July 13, 1963 he was married to Bonnie Brosh. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Bonnie, children Mary Brockschink, Bill (Jill) Brockschink, Jr., both of Marion, and Jane (Brett) Sagers of Eden Prairie, MN, granddaughters, Kate and Ashley Brockschink, Megan and Morgan Sagers. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Victor Brockschink, Jr. Bill was the proud owner of Brockschink and Son Service Station, and Brockschink Oil, Co. He was part of the Brosh Funeral Service for many years. Bill was a member of the Norway American Legion and a lifelong member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Bill was a caring and compassionate man, and never knew a stranger. He touched many lives. He dearly loved his family, friends, and his town of Norway. He will be missed.
