Thomas "Thom" Giles Dressler, 68, of Cedar Rapids, IA passed away February 17, 2025 after a ten-year battle with Parkinson's.

Thom was born February 3, 1957 to Edmund and LaVerne (Wombacher) Dressler in Cedar Rapids. He attended Jefferson High School. Following school, Thom worked a couple odd jobs before becoming a machinist for Cedar Rapids Inc; retiring in 2023.

On April 16, 1977, Thom married Paula Lagerquist at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids. Together the couple made their home in Cedar Rapids.

Thom enjoyed cars (Mustangs), building model cars, and watching NASCAR. He was a Cubmaster for Pack #86 for over 20 years.

Thom is survived by his wife, Paula Dressler of Cedar Rapids; son, Levi (Julie) Dressler of Ames; their children, Joel and Lucas; son, Brandon (Melissa) Dressler of Cedar Rapids; their children, Lennon, Jack and Thayer; son, Trevor (Tomye) Dressler of Fairfax; their children, Grayson, Ensley, Crue, Cambrie and Emorly; son, Robert (Michelle Corley) of Cedar Rapids; their children, Jasper and Alice.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and an infant sister, Lillian.

There will be a service for family at 12:00 p.m., followed by a celebration of life open to all who wish to attend at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Gloria Dei Church Lutheran Church, Cedar Rapids with burial at a later date.
