Theresa Schmidt Carnahan, 74, died in her home. Services: Saturday, September 21, 2013, 10:30 a.m., St. Michael's Catholic Church, Norway, with Rev. Craig Steimel officiating. Visitation: one hour prior to service at the parish center. Burial: St. Michael's Cemetery. Theresa was born September 10, 1939, in Norway, the daughter of Arthur and Mary (Davin) Schmidt. She worked in the insurance industry in Colorado and Connecticut before retiring and moving back to Iowa. She loved to get together with family and play euchre. Theresa was a die-hard Denver Broncos fan and a loyal Cubs fan. She also enjoyed going to Tama. Survivors include brothers Thomas (Jutta), Robert (Mary), Lawrence (Joanne), and Donald (Betty); sister Judy (Don) McCloud; sister-in-law Pam Schmidt; brothers-in-law Ken Hall and Don Hawker. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Francis and three sisters Betty, Kathryn and Rita. Brosh Funeral Service, Norway is in charge of arrangements.
