Ruby E. Haack Schuelka, 88, of Van Horne, IA passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Belle Plaine Specialty Care.

Ruby was born February 21, 1929 to Henry and Emma (Selken) Witt in Keystone, IA. After attending school in Keystone Ruby married Lyle Otto Haack in March of 1955. Following his passing she married Eugene Schuelka in December 1976.

Ruby enjoyed gardening, yard work, bowling, and dancing. She was a member of the Vinton, Van Horne American Legion Auxiliary.

Ruby is Survived by her children, Barb (Keith) of Cedar Rapids, Janet Haack of Cedar Rapids, Dean (Marlene Fritz) Haack of Vinton, Karen (David) McNeal of Vinton, Connie (Bill) Mall of Belle Plaine and Gerry (Michelle O'Brien) Haack of Belle Plaine; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
