Richard "Buddie" Suchy, 89 of Elberon, IA passed away November 14, 2023 at Keystone Care Center.

Richard was born May 15, 1934 to Milo Frank and Alice B. (Viktora) Suchy at home in Elberon. He attended country school and worked at Skelly Station in Belle Plaine, IA.  On January 19, 1953, Richard married Pauline M. Cizek in Vining, IA.  After buying his first farm in 1955, Richard farmed his entire life. The couple raised their family in rural Elberon on that farm.

Richard enjoyed going dancing with Pauline. He had also in the past called square dances.  He always played musical instruments.  Richard played the sax in his family's band in the 1950's, "Milo & his Melodians". There were always good conversations about old farm equipment/farming at places like The Old Threshers Reunion and Antique Acres.

He was a soft spoken, hardworking man and loved spending time outdoors. He was a member of the Odd Fellows.
