Craig Steimel celebrating. Burial: St. Joseph's Cemetery, Raymond, Iowa. Visitation: 5-8 PM Friday at St. Michael's Parish Center, Norway. Marjorie was born February 28, 1929 in Raymond to Mathias and Grace Monahan Thome. Survivors include her children Debby (Mike) Hamed, Cathy Simon, Tom Simon, Dan Simon, Jim (Terri) Simon, and Connie (Mike) LeGrand; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, husbands Donald Simon and Bernard Plotz, granddaughter Nicole LeGrand, sister Celeste Fagrlind, and brothers, Gene and Irv Thome.
