Marion was born March 1, 1929 to Emil and Mary Best. She graduated from the University of Iowa, married her love Bill Donovan and moved to Fort Chaffee, AR all in the same day.

Marion was a loyal Hawkeye and Cubs fan, and was elated she lived long enough to see her Cubs win the World Series. She was an avid reader, crossword player and Quiz game fan; anything to keep her sharp, in which she stayed until the very end!

She is survived by her 3 children, Tom (Jane), Maria, and Kiki; 4 grandchildren, Marisa (Matt) Schilling, Megan Rieck, Shane Rieck, and Amanda Donovan; 2 great-grandchildren, Keegan and Lillian Schilling; nephews, Keith Glascott, Mark (Cynthia) Hisler, Dave (Amber), Brandon and Carson Hisler, and Jim Hisler; fondly, Phyllis Best.

She was a loving, caring and generous person. Her sense of humor and wit will never be forgotten.
