Margaret Frese Himmelsbach, 102, died Monday, June 10, 2013 at Colonial Manor, Amana. Services: Friday, June 14, 2013, 10:00 am. St. Michael's Catholic Church, Norway with Rev. Craig Steimel officiating. Private burial: St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 4-7 PM at the Parish Center with Rosary at 7:00. Margaret was born February 26, 1911 to Henry and Elizabeth Schulte Frese. On October 4, 1932 she married Leonard Himmelsbach at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Norway. Survivors include sons Bernard (Janet) and Richard (Jane); daughter Mary (Bud) Hall; daughter-in-law Barb Himmelsbach; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; 1 step-great-great-grandson. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, parents, infant daughter Margaret Louise, and son David; one step-great-grandson; 2 sisters Lucille Rottger and Armella Hinkel; 4 brothers Charles, George, Arthur and Delbert Frese. Brosh Funeral Service of Norway is serving the family.
