Mandy Rae Candler, 38, of Belle Plaine, Iowa passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 at her home.

Mandy Rae was born January 11, 1978 to Elanna Lynn (McBurney) and David J. Candler. She graduated from Cedar Rapids Thomas Jefferson High School in 1999. Following high school, she spent time working at Rural Employment Alternative in Conroy and Options of Lynn County.

Mandy liked playing cards and board games, she was a tough opponent especially when it came to Uno. She enjoyed watching TV and movies, but most of all she enjoyed listing to music, especially Garth Brooks.

She is survived by her mother, Elanna Lynn Bennett and step-father, Richard L. Bennett, both of Belle Plaine; two dogs Smokey and Dixie, and many more loving family and friends.

Mandy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl McBurney and Lois E. McBurney.
