Linda M. Friedman Powell, 61, of Victor, formerly of Belle Plaine, died Monday, September 2, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids following a brief illness. Memorial Services will be 10:00 AM. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church, 1702 230th Street, rural Williamsburg, with Pastor Eric Nygren presiding. Inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 4 - 7 PM. Friday at the Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine. She is survived by her husband Doug of Victor; Mother, Leona Harris of Belle Plaine; sisters, Judy (Terry) VanTomme of Brooklyn, Sandy (Jim) Scott of Fayetteville, GA., Margaret (Darrel) Johnson of Marengo, Mary (Mike) DeRycke of Victor; brothers, Robert of Austin, TX., David (Sheryl) of Blakesburg, Dan (Monica) of Belle Plaine, Gary (Jo) of DeWitt, Dennis (Vicki Waterbury) Kimble of Frederick, MD.; Step-Son, Don Mull of Kansas City, MO.; and several Nieces and Nephews. Memorials may be given to the Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church.
