Kenneth "Kenny Ray" Walton, 59, of Belle Plaine died Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids after a courageous battle with cancer. Visitation is Friday, September 5 from 4:00-6:00 PM with a special memorial service at 6:30 PM at the Hrabak Funeral Home. Kenny is survived by his wife Deb, children Dawn (Jay), Devon (Rik), and Bill (Ashley), along with six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two brothers, Greg (Annette) and Steve; three sisters, Sue, Brenda (Gary), and Roxie (Randy). Kenny was born January 2, 1955 to George and Carol Walton. He attended Belle Plaine High School and was employed by Town & Country Wholesale. The family wants to thank Dr. Thomas Warren and staff, hospitalists, fifth floor and their awesome staff for their support and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Belle Plaine Athletic Boosters or the Belle Plaine Ambulance. Kenny was a true friend to many and loved for his smutty' sense of humor.
