Kenneth W. Kenner, 81, of Chelsea, IA passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, IA.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service, Belle Plaine with Deacon Joe Behounek officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine.

Kenneth was born August, 9, 1936 to Floyd and Lillian (Grieder) Kenner in Belle Plaine. He graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1955. On August 5, 1961 Kenneth married Judith Kriva at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Chelsea. Kenneth lived in Belle Plaine for 20 years. Then together the couple moved just outside of town where he farmed the Kriva family farm for 36 years and worked for Ralston's Foods in Cedar Rapids for 43 years, where he enjoyed driving truck.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judith Kenner; sister, Sandra (Harlan) Cronbaugh of Cedar Rapids; sister-in laws, Patricia Boyd of WI, Beatrice (Edward) Gordon of CA, Jo Ann (James) Van Weelden of Fairfax, Marrie Hanzelka of UT, Ann Johnson of Fairfax, and many more nieces, nephews, and friends.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in law Joseph Kriva.
