Joyce E. Swain, 86, died Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Belle Plaine Nursing and Rehab Center following a short illness. Services will be 10:30 AM Thursday, March 28 at the Hrabak Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Andrews presiding. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. She is survived by a son, James (Linda) Werning of Tama; brother, Max (Joyce) McElroy of Downey, CA; sisters, Marilyn Ealy if Belle Plaine and Eleanor McElroy of Tama; sister-in-law, Gert McElroy of Belle Plaine; and friend, Patsy Sutphin.
