Jerald "Jerry" R. Freland, 77, of Belle Plaine passed away Monday December 21, 2015 at Belle Plaine Specialty Care, from an extended illness. There will be a private graveside service at a later date. He is survived by daughters, Jerelyn Kimm of Blairstown, IA, Becky Walther of Belle Plaine, IA, Lucy (Dan) Knapp of Clinton, IA, Crystal Freland of Belle Plaine, IA; step-son, John Munson of Tama, IA; step-daughter, Pam Munson of Belle Plaine, IA; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Christine of 30yrs, and son Russel Freland.
