Jeffery Joe McMains, 57, of Blairstown, IA passed away September 16, 2026.

Jeffery the son of Gary and Judith (Blackford) McMains was born April 19, 1969 in Cedar Rapids, IA. He graduated from Linn-Mar High School, class 1988. Following high school Jeff worked at Amana Refrigeration for 30 plus years until retirement.

Jeff liked paintball, riding motorcycles, watching WWE wrestling and action shows. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his ornery sense of humor.

He is survived by his brother Scott McMains of Elberon; sister, Lisa Egan of Cedar Rapids; brothers, Chuck Egan of Las Vegas; David Egan of Marion; nephew, Golyfe May; nieces, Carley McMains, Abby Jo Gross, Jordynn Stoner; great-niece, DJ; step-mother, Linda Harrison and many other family.

Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Gary McMains; mother, Judi Randall; brother, Bobbie Egan; and sister-in-law, Darcy McMains.

Celebration of life will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to his family to help with memorial costs.
