Jason Lee DeMeyer, 38 died Friday, August 7, 2015 at the Belle Plaine Nursing and Rehab Center Center following a short illness. Memorial Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Deacon Joe Behounek presiding. Inurnment will be at a later date. in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7pm Monday at the Hrabak Funeral Home where there will be a Rosary at 7:00pm. He is survived by his parents, Jack and Sandy DeMeyer, Sister Gina (Dave) Krahmer of Fairfax, Nephew Keith Purk and Dalton Johnson, and many close cousins, Aunts, and Uncles. Jason was born February 14, 1977 in Iowa City. He graduated from Belle Plaine in 1995. He was a Residential Care Counselor for Crest Family Services. He loved nature, the country, old American History, friends, and family, and Tigger. His smile and love of life will be greatly missed.
