Jacqueline K. Bachelder, 82, formerly of Belle Plaine, IA passed away October 8, 2017 at Regency Park Nursing and Rehab, Jefferson IA.

Services are 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 20, 2017 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Belle Plaine with Deacon Joe Behounek officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine.

Jacqueline was born December 11, 1934 in Belle Plaine to Sam and Florence (Fitzgerald) Roudabush. She graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1952. On October 24, 1953 Jacqueline married David Bachelder and to this union three children were born. Jacqueline had many jobs during her lifetime and worked very hard providing for her family.

She enjoyed playing cards, chocolate and socializing with family and friends. Her greatest joy was her family and she will always be remembered for the love she had for them.

She is survived by her children, Mike (Allison) Bachelder of Belle Plaine, Cindy (Kevin) Fitzpatrick of Churdan, and Jeff (Lisa) Bachelder of Knoxville; siblings, Dean (Theresa) Roudabush of Atkins, Lawrence Roudabush of Cedar Rapids, and Sandy Prichard of Dysart; grandchildren, Nick, Lane, Paige and Noah Bachelder, Sarah Erdmann, Kevin Fitspatrick Jr., Mary Scuito, Daniel Fitzpatrick, Melissa Weldon, Mark, Brett, and Amber Hannan; 9 great-grandchildren, and many more loving family and friends.
