Helen J. Kupka, 96, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama from complications of age. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, December 13 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Chelsea with Deacon Joe Behounek presiding. Burial will be in Stayskal Cemetery, rural Chelsea. Visitation will be after 9:00 AM Saturday at the church. Per her request the casket will be closed at all times. She is survived by a niece, Betty Mundt of Marshalltown; great nieces Linda Hay of Austin, MN, Sandy (Mike) Johnson, and Deb (Mike) Forristall, both of Madrid, IA, and Vicki Davis of Galt, IA, Karen Guglielmetti of Clutier; great-nephew, Bill (Kathy) Mundt of Newhall, Russell (Judy) Kupka of Tama, Larry (Reva) Kupka of DeLand, FL; and by many great-great nieces and nephews; cousins, Tom Harty of Keystone and Jean (Randy) Pfeiffer of Muscatine.
