Helen Evelyn Dixon, 83, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away September 24, 2021 at her home.

Helen was born October 13, 1937 to Huran and Aida (Pritchett) Bray in Missouri. She attended school in Missouri before moving with her family to Iowa where she met Lawrence Richard Dixon. After the couple married in 1958, they moved around Tama and Benton County. Settling in Belle Plaine, following retirement.

Helen enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting and loved to garden.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori Dixon of Belle Plaine; grandchildren, Candace (Brandon) Zesch of Belle Plaine, Tessa Lastovka of Phoenix, AZ, Ashley (Aaron Westemeyer) Simmons of Belle Plaine, Harmony Bridgewater of Belle Plaine; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Elizabeth, Zander, Ava, Ethan, Bubs, Dakota, Robert and Richard; siblings, Joe Bray of SC, Lexton (Janice) Bray of Vinton, Carolyn Hanna of SC, Danny (Denise) Bray of MO, Sharon (Bob) Neighbors of SC; Special friends, Vicky Melsh of Marion, Connie and Dan Engel of Belle Plaine.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard and several family and friends.
