Elanna Lynn Bennett, 59, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at her home.

Elanna was born September 22, 1959 to Earl and Lois (Kelsey) McBurney in Cedar Rapids, IA. After attending school in Cedar Rapids, she was married and to this union a child was born. On March 6, 1998 she married Richard Bennett. She was a stay at home mom taking care of her daughter Mandy. She was known to many as Mandy's mom and her life revolved around that bond.

Elanna enjoyed playing games with family, and watching NASCAR. She was a dye hard Tony Stewart fan.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Bennett of Belle Plaine, brothers, Ed, James, and Dale McBurney and many more loving family and friends.

Elanna was preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Mandy Candler in 2016; and brother Larry McBurney.
