Dorothy Ann Platz, 93, of Waterloo, formerly of Belle Plaine, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 in Waterloo, IA.

Dorothy Ann Junge was born December 14, 1926 to John and Lillian (Kuehl) Junge. She was joined in marriage to Robert Arnold Platz on June 21, 1942.

She is survived by her son, Jon (Linda) Platz of Waterloo, IA; granddaughter, Shelley (John) Schuelka of Burlington, IA and two grandsons, Wesley (Shelly) Platz, Waterloo, IA & Travas (Jessica) Platz, Cumming, GA. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, John Henry and Robby Schuelka, Tucker and Amelia Platz, Hunter and Parker Platz.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Arnold Platz; son, Robert Keith Platz and one great granddaughter, Madison Platz.

Dorothy will be laid to rest beside her husband Bob in a private gravesite service in Belle Plaine, IA.

She will be deeply missed by our family.
