Dorothy Arlene Mikesell, 89, of Belle Plaine died Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Belle Plaine Nursing & Rehabilitation Center following a long illness. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Hrabak Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Jones presiding. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. She is survived by daughter, Julie (Paul) Beck of Tama, Becky (Tim) Daily of Belle Plaine, and Lisa (Rick) Kalina of Brooklyn; son, David (Leora) Mikesell of Belle Plaine; also by 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George in 1998; brothers, Howard M. Gallagher and Herbert F. Gallagher, Jr.
