Donald C. "Rasty" Elliott, 102, of Norway, IA passed away January 2, 2023 at Living Center East, Cedar Rapids, IA.

Donald was born to Charles and Agnes (Brown) Elliott on December 26, 1920. Don graduated from Norway High School. Then served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Following his service, he returned to Norway and joined his father in becoming a barber and running a barber shop in Norway for many years. On January 23, 1943 Donald married Dorothy Laird in Joplin, MO.

In his youth he enjoyed mushroom hunting, trapping and watching his son play baseball.

Donald is survived by his son Max (Julie) Elliott; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Dorothy Elliott (2015).
