Deloris A. Wickwire, 80, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at St. Luke's Living Center, in Cedar Rapids.

Deloris the daughter of Weslie and Gertrude (Peek) Miller was born March 11, 1936 in Williamsburg, IA. She attended Blairstown school, following school she was married to Marvin Wickwire on March 20, 1953 in Marengo. Together the couple settled in Cedar Rapids. Deloris was a homemaker and stayed home to raised their children.

Deloris loved cooking, baking, and gardening. She also liked spending her time traveling and enjoying many vacations. The true love of her life were her children and husband. She was a member of Royal Neighbors of Belle Plaine, and Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin, of 63 years; children, Marvlyn (Allen) Barber, of Clarksville, IA, Beverly Weiss, of Cedar Falls, IA, Dean (Chris) Wickwire, of Shell Rock, IA; grandchildren, Nicholas (Emily) Barber, Nathan (Brandi) Wickwire, Tyler (Linda) Wickwire and 9 great-grandchildren.

Deloris was preceded in death by her parents; son, Marvin Dean Jr.; sister and 2 brothers.

Services are 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service in Belle Plaine, with Pastor Steven Hubbell officiating.

Visitation is 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service in Belle Plaine. With visitation continuing an hour prior the service.
