David John Leonard, 70, of Belle Plaine, passed away suddenly at his home March 9, 2016. There will be a private family service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at hrabakfuneralhome.com David was born May 18, 1945 in Belle Plaine to John and Dorothy (Bevins) Leonard. He attended Belle Plaine high school. Following high school, he entered into the U.S. Navy in 1964. After his return from the Navy he worked at Amana Refrigeration in quality control for 40 years until his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion #39. David is survived by his daughter Mollie Graff of California and brother Joe Leonard of Belle Plaine, IA. He is preceded in death by his parents.
