Betty K. Rusk, 95, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away Oct. 31, 2018 at Keystone Care Center.

Graveside service is at 11:00 a.m. Wed. Nov. 7, 2018 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine with Pastor Don Drahos officiating. Memorials may be directed to Belle Plaine Ambulance Service. Online condolences can be sent to www.hrabakfuneralhome.com .

Betty is survived by her niece, Barbara Wohlbrant of Buffalo, WY and nephew, Brad Carpenter of Cedar Rapids, IA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William; children, Garie (Linda) and Kathie Rusk and brother, Bill.

Betty was born April, 22, 1923 on an acreage east of Belle Plaine to William and Nellie (Meyers) Carpenter. She graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1940. On October, 8, 1942 Betty married William Rusk in Vinton, IA.

She was a caretaker, and had a healthy sense of humor all her life.
