Bernice E. Papesh, age 98, of the Elberon and Belle Plaine areas, died, Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the Keystone Nursing Care Center in Keystone. Services will be held, 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 12, 2013, at the Hrabak Funeral Home by . Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Belle Plaine. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., Wednesday at the funeral home. She is survived by a daughter, Ellen (Carl) Robison of Belle Plane; a son, Mike (Shirlee) Papesh, of Conway, Arkansas; three sisters, Dorothy Walton of Belle Plaine, Virginia McVay and Elnora Schwab, both of Cedar Rapids; grandson, Ron; great granddaughter, Cheyenne. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Rosa Staelens Wilson; her husband James; sisters Edna Kouba, Arilla Prichard, Josephine Arens, and Irlene Vileta; and brothers, George and Charles. A Memorial Fund has been established.
