Allen Douglas Currier was born on March 4, 1980 in Sigourney, Iowa to Janet Adams Currier and Douglas Currier. He passed on May 14, 2024 at University of Iowa Hospitals in  Iowa City of a sudden illness.

Allen was a gifted writer and an avid reader. He was a fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Chicago Cubs and especially the Chicago Bears. He loved watching Bears games with his nephews.

Allen is survived by his mother, Janie Hupfeld; sisters, Jordan Brannaman and Angie Walter; brothers-in-law, Brian Brannaman and Cody Walter all of Belle Plaine; nephews, Ethan Kaiser (fiancée Dawn Toney) and Mason Walter; and nieces, Ella and Eva Brannaman and Avery Walter.

Allen was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Richard and Dorothy Currier of Toledo, Ohio; maternal grandparents, Jim and Betty Adams of What Cheer, Iowa and a special aunt, Crystal Pendleton.

Private family burial will be Sunday, May 19th at Oak Hill Cemetery in Belle Plaine.
