Alan LeRoy Jacobs, 83, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away April 30, 2026 at his home.

Alan was born November 30, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Alan married Sharlene Ann Toney. He worked at local co-ops, sawmill, helping farmers in the area and drove truck for Manatt's.

Alan enjoyed fishing, and loved riding horses, and road rodeo in his younger days. Most of all he cherished his time with his grandchildren. He was loving, caring and could make everyone laugh.

Alan is survived by granddaughter, Angel Aviles; grandson, Michael Wickwire; five great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Linda Jacobs.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sharlene; sister, Patti Jacobs and three brothers.

Celebration of Life is 2-5 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Alan's Home. 7771 13th Ave Dr., Belle Plaine, IA.
