Sherrill E. Lynch, 97, of Countryside, IL, died Monday, November 16, 2009 at the Holy Cross Hospital in Chicago, Illinois from complications of age. Services will be 10:30 AM Saturday at the Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine by Rev. Bonnie Koeppen. Burial will be in Sheridan Cemetery, rural Malcolm. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Helen of 69 years; daughter, Janet (Larry) Lock; daughter-in-law, Barbara Lynch; grandchildren, Brian (Brandy) Lock and Kevin (Michelle) Lock; also by four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Melvin and a grandson.
Sherrill was born August 31, 1912 in Malcolm, to Clarence and Letha Bolen Lynch. He married Helen V. Roth 69 years ago.
