Kathryn M. Holst, 89, died Monday, March 8, 2010 at her son’s home in Iowa City following a lingering illness. Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday at the Hrabak Funeral Home by Mary Beth Siemann, Hospice Chaplain. Burial will be in the Marengo Cemetery on Saturday. Visitation will be from 4:00—8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
She is survived by daughters, Donna (Mike) Owens of Lawson, MO and Berta (Charley) Garrett of Excelsior Springs, MO; sons, David (Mary) Dixon of Iowa City, Raymond (Bonnie) Schwab of Sherrard, IL, and Ken (Bonnie) Schwab of Belle Plaine; sisters, Lenore (Chester) Pearson, Ruth Mary Tibbetts, and Marcia Lamprecht; brothers, Norman (Jan) Herman and Keith (Mary Ann) Herman; also by eighteen grandchildren, forty-two great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Iowa Hospice or the Belle Plaine Community Center. |
